Things to do
Walks, birds, coffee and bonfires on the property — and the Hoysala heartland an hour away.
On the estate

A guided hour through shade-grown Arabica, pepper vines and silver oak, ending with a cupping of the estate's own roast.

Drive or trek to the ridge for first light over the Western Ghats, with flasks of coffee carried up from the kitchen.

A shaded walk to the seasonal stream at the boundary of the estate — best between June and January.

Malabar barbets, hornbills, drongos and paradise flycatchers. Binoculars available at the desk.

Lanterns, board games and a bonfire on the lawn once the mist rolls in, weather permitting.

Edgestay is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome on the trails, the lawn and inside the cottages with prior intimation.
Beyond the gate
We will arrange a car and a driver who knows the roads. Most guests do one outing and keep the rest of the weekend on the estate.

Kayaking and still water at sunset, 40 minutes from the gate.

Tell us if you are here for birds, temples, coffee or nothing at all — we will shape the days around it.
